WHAZZUP!
Hello nerds, geeks, and other consumers of the weird, magical, and the fantastical of all ages!
My name is Andrea Joanne Dissimulo (AJ Dissimulo for short) and I am an aspiring writer in the fantasy and sci-fi genre. I am currently working on my first book and I am nearly two/thirds of the way through (woo hoo!). There have been lots of hurdles, as I am a teenage writer in high school and it seems every time I have a sudden inspiration there is something else that is needed to be done.
But anyway, here is the summary of my first book, The 7 Evils: The Voyage of the Indomitable!
Freedom was scarce in a land where Evil literally rules. One misstep leads to the cruelest of punishments. When Taz- orphaned by a plague that stole your breath- and Iagar- a runaway slave hesitant to share his past- need to pay debt to a ruthless and cruel gang lord, they land themselves in more trouble than ever and are sent to the mines.
They escape using an old rebellion ship and the talents of an alchemist in hiding, only to anger the Sixth Evil, the Beast. With him on their tails, they also have to handle twins bent on vengeance and revolution, a mysterious pendant hiding secrets that everyone seems to want, a doctor with terrible bedside manners and her nurses, two other Evils wanting their heads, and the inescapable prison under the surface of the sea haunted by a ghost.
With the threat of death over their heads, will Taz, Iagar, and their newfound allies manage to successfully flee the Evils… or will their names be lost to time like all the others who dared to defy (accidentally or purposefully) the most dangerous men alive?
If you seem interested, please leave a comment… or something. I’m knew to blogging, and it appears that it will become one of my most deadly of enemies. If you have any preference on what you definitely want to see or not see in my book, please let me know! If any other writers read this, know that I would love to have your advice.
I’ll try to post every couple of weeks or so, maybe uploading little sneak peaks or lore about my series or my opinions on writing, such as love triangles or what makes a good antagonists.
Thanks for reading strangers!
